WEEK 1 - Fundamentals & Physical Sensations Introducing the core principles and guidelines for the applied practices WEEK 2 - Breath & the 5 Senses Learning to direct and centre the attention as opposed to operating on autopilot WEEK 3 - Pleasant & Unpleasant Experiences Understanding how the individuals perception creates pleasant and unpleasant experiences and how one can willingly develop controlled responses to them WEEK 4 - Detaching from Thoughts Introducing the concept behind the negativity bias in our process of thinking and when it is destructive and when constructive WEEK 5 - Awareness of Emotions Understanding of the main conditional barriers of emotional processing and the importance of a healthy relationship with personal feelings WEEK 6 - Open Attention Understanding the importance of open attention as the opposite of focused/directed attention to build self-awareness and increase the capabilities to self-assess, maintain emotional alertness, and build self-confidence WEEK 7 - Integrating Compassion Understanding the importance and the differences of compassion in relation to empathy and kindness WEEK 8 - Maintaining Mental Fitness A general overview of how to maintain a regular practice and integrate mental fitness in day-to-day life
